This decade wasn’t afraid to tackle some heavy subject matters, including teens with cancer. That’s a lot to deal with, but the movie also found a way to confront it with some levity, romance, and even fun. It certainly helped that John Green’s bestselling book seemed to be very translatable. It just needed the chemistry of the two main leads, and Woodley and Elgort definitely had that.
