Colonel Vosch reveals the threat of the “Others” and their abilities in this clip from The 5th Wave

It’s a little over four weeks until The 5th Wave is released in theaters, and we’re getting some really good clips from the film, including this one of Colonel Vosch (Liev Schreiber) explaining the danger of the “Others” and how they have the ability to filter themselves with the human population.

Obviously, being human and scared brings people to do crazy things, and this is what’s interesting about The 5th Wave. This clip shows the fight humans have with themselves as well as with the outside threat.

Four waves of increasingly deadly alien attacks have left most of Earth decimated. Against a backdrop of fear and distrust, Cassie Sullivan, is on the run, desperately trying to save her younger brother, Sammy. As she prepares for the fifth wave, Cassie teams up with a young man Evan, who may become her final hope – if she can only trust him.

The 5th Wave  opens in U.S. theaters on January 22, 2016 and also stars Chloë Moretz, Nick Robinson, Alex Roe, Ron Livingston, Maika Monroe, Zackary Arthur, and Maria Bello.
