5 Disney-Themed A Capella Videos You Have to Watch

Disney A capella medleys are the thing to watch these days

Now Disney has been a factor in the childhood of almost all of us growing up. We’ve seen all the Disney princess movies, and we have definitely been to all the musicals and seen the beautiful voices of the performing actors. But even then the reminiscing thoughts surface and we just want to rewind back to our childhood and  listen to these wonderful songs. Which is why we have decided to compile 5 Disney A capella videos that are a must watch.

1) Disney Medley by Trey Duffey

Now this video is not only compelling to to watch because of its vivid colors and excellent editing, but it is beautiful to hear. These amazing vocals of Trey Duffey and his friends have created a great rendition of songs such as “A Whole New World,” “Love is am Open Door,” and countless others.

2) After Ever After by Paint

This Disney A capella parody is based off of the most popular songs of the following tales: Ariel, Aladdin, Belle, Pocahontas. The songs sung in this video explain or predict what happened to these fairy tales princesses or heroines after their happily ever after and is filled with comedy and well thought out lyrics tied together with an amazing voice.

3) aca-Disney by VoicePlay and Disney on Broadway

From a range of vocals to mixing authentic classic Disney songs with a pop melody this group has it all. The drop from a high to a low notes in “Arabian Nights” to the pop in a “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” makes the music all the more appealing. Not to forget the snazzy outfits they’re wearing and the decorated background.

4) Disney Medley by Alex G. and Peter Hollens

The costumes, the location, the filming, the editing, and let’s not forget the voices makes this group all the more interesting. Other than listening to them my eyes couldn’t leave the page. The mix of voices from Alex and Peter is wonderfully and they sing a set of different notes which mash beautifully.

5) Hercules Medley by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s No Comment A Cappella

Though the video is centered around Hercules, there is a variety of students with different vocal ranges singing. And with the multitude of students in the background, there is a true Disney A capella feeling that comes with it.

But don’t fret, though these five were listed there are others that ring just as loud as these and will fill your heart with Disney memories as you sing along.
