U.S. release date: 12/25/16
Based on the book Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

If you’ve read this book, then you’re probably not surprised by the fact that Tim Burton took on the job of directing the adaptation.  And it’s probably also not surprising that young Asa Butterfield has taken on the role of main protagonist Jacob Portman.

The book itself is full of quirks and oddball or eerie antique photos that the author added to his trilogy to give it a very unique way of telling the story.  We’re just really interested in seeing how Burton puts it all together in movie format.  It could be something really special.
