THE TWELVE DAYS OF DASH & LILY by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares is holiday themed in itself, but we really appreciated the follow-up, The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily, a little more because it’s one of the few books that deals with holiday gloom. About a year after their original adventure (which you don’t need to read to understand this novel,) Lily is going through some tough times and not feeling the spirit of the season. Dash is doing his best to bring her some holiday cheer– usually with hilarious, disastrous results. It’s also a nice short read to help you with those end-of-year reading goals!
