Sure, they’re playing new characters, but they’re definitely not new to our screens.
As we’re gearing up the epic return of our favorite superhero shows, the CW is teasing us with a few little golden nugget of Arrowverse crossover news. As with previous years, this three-night event will kick off with The Flash, December 9, followed by Arrow, December 10, and finishing off with Supergirl, December 11. This year however, Legends of Tomorrow will not be a part of this crossover. Instead, it’ll feature Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, Batwoman and Lois Lane.
Wait, Lois Lane?!!
Yep, you read that correctly. Elizabeth Tulloch will be playing Lois Lane in this three-night event. Grimm fans may recognize her as Juliette on the former supernatural show. Arrowverse fans will also meet Ruby Rose’s Batwoman. Rounding out the trio of badass women is Stephen Amell’s wife, Cassandra Jean Amell, coincidentally playing supervillain Nora Fries, the wife of Mr. Freeze.
Although it’s still unclear how these new characters will fit into the current storyline, we do know that, according to Grant Gustin, this year’s Arrowverse crossover will be “pretty epic”.
The three-night Arrowverse crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m.
