Nick Nolte is the newest addition to the Star Wars live-action series THE MANDALORIAN, which will premiere on Disney’s new streaming platform.
Actor Nick Nolte has joined Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano in The Mandalorian, with Pascal leading the pack. Unfortunately Disney hasn’t revealed any details about Nick Nolte (or Gina Carano’s) characters.
Nick Nolte is a Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee. He boasts a long list of credits including The Prince of Tides, Cape Fear, The Thin Red Line, Hotel Rwanda, and Tropic Thunder. Interestingly enough, Nolte has said that he was actually considered for Han Solo in the original Star Wars casting!
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”
