‘Maveth’ promises a major showdown between Hydra and the AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is working its way up to a massive battle with Hydra in the winter finale episode, ‘Maveth’! While you’ll have to wait for the show for the showdown itself, two new clips are showing the build up from both the S.H.I.E.L.D. side and the Hydra side.
First, newly minted Acting Director Mack has a moment with Bobbi and Joey before they head in with the rest of the team to plan a full-scale siege of a major Hydra stronghold, hoping to rescue some Inhumans in the process. Of course, newbie Joey has plenty of questions, some of which leave the other agents staring at him as if he grew a third eye! …Sorry, we’ll just leave the way we came in now…
Next, Gideon Malick is so confident in his plans for Hydra that he lays them out right in front of captive Agent Jemma Simmons. She’s more than happy to punch holes in Malick’s precious plans and present him with a challenge, knowing that her team will never let Hydra succeed.
