‘Beastly’ actor Alex Pettyfer promotes his publishing company’s first book, Blood, Ink, & Fire

Blood, Ink, & Fire, a new YA book written by Ashley Mansour, was promoted by “I Am Number Four“ and “Beastly“ actor Alex Pettyfer. Why? Well, it just so happens that Mr. Pettyfer had recently launched a new publishing company, Upturn Publishing, and the YA Dystopian novel is the first book to be released under it. No doubt this is also a way to get both his publishing and production (Upturn Productions) companies some support.

It definitely looks like he’s been working hard to get this book out there, and debut author Ashley Mansour probably couldn’t be more excited about having this handsome fella read an excerpt from her book.

Alex also went on Extra at Universal Studios Hollywood to promote the book,

I have to admit, I like that this star takes the time to promote a new author’s book, even if it’s for his gain as well. Silly as it is, he even showed a video of himself getting a (temporary) tattoo with the books cover on his back.
