SHADOWHUNTERS season 2 is underway it’s time to add more characters to the series, starting with Alisha Wainwright.

From the tweet above, and for those who don’t follow the books, Maia is a werewolf who is part of Luke’s pack. In the show, she’ll be a bartender at the Hunters Moon and is a new member of the pack.
If the series plans to follow her character’s story arc, we may see her interact with Simon Lewis and develop a relationship with him. And we all know that fans really like with adaptations follow the storyline.
At the same time, we’d like think it will be at least another season or two before that happens. We’d also like to see the series include another character first before that happens, which is a significant person for Maia’s character development.
Fans will know Kyle Jordan as that character, and yes, we’d like to see a casting announcement for him sometime very soon.
For now, we’re celebrating that Alisha Wainwright is now part of the Shadowhunters cast.
Alisha’s other credits include appearances on Criminal Minds, Switched at Birth, General Hospital, and Rosewood. She also played the voice of Leona on the animated series, Disney Star Darlings.
Shadowhunters will premiere early 2017 on Freeform.
