The movie adaptation of Jennifer Niven‘s 2015 novel All The Bright Places is coming to Netflix at the end of the month, and the trailer just hit the Internet!
All The Bright Places follows Violet Markey (Elle Fanning,) who’s struggling to fit back into her once carefree life following the death of her sister. Things start to change when she reluctantly forms a relationship with an outcast classmate named Theodore Finch (Justice Smith.) But Finch has his own troubles to contend with, and soon the two will be forced to confront the ways that their romance and their pain affect them, both together and separately.
The trailer, featured at the top of the post, focuses on Violet and her introduction to Finch, explores their romance a bit, then dives into Finch’s mental illness and how it affects them.
Author Jennifer Niven also wrote the screenplay for the film. A new movie tie-in edition of the novel is also available now via Amazon, B&N, or Indiebound!
All The Bright Places hits Netflix on February 28, 2020.
