Go behind the scenes of an AQUAMAN fight!
The Justice League trailer brought DC Comics fans a quick look at Amber Heard as Queen Mera, the wife of Aquaman portrayed by Jason Momoa, but her character will get a larger appearance next year when Aquaman hits theaters.
Filming is currently underway in Australia and the actress is giving us the first look at her character in action. In a short Instagram video, Heard shows off some of her training for a fight scene in which she takes on two stunt men.

Judging by the movements, this certainly seems like an on-the-ground fight. We’ve seen images of Mera on the shore, so it’s plenty possible, but we’re still wondering how much underwater action we’ll see in the film.
Aquaman is due to hit theaters on December 21, 2018.
