Meet a mad leprechaun and an undead bride in new looks at AMERICAN GODS!

The new Starz show American Gods features some mythical and straight-up wild characters. Based on the bestselling novel by Neil Gaiman, the show follows a man named Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle), whose wife Laura (Emily Browning) dies just as he’s released from prison. He soon finds himself in the precarious employment of a man named Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane), who introduces him to a war brewing between gods for control the human world.

Now, two new videos are showing us one of the old gods and Shadow’s (former?) wife, who has gone through quite the transformation.

The first is Mad Sweeney (Pablo Schreiber), one of the original leprechauns who came over from the “old world”. He and Shadow have a very interesting first meeting filled with coin tricks and a bloody fist fight, all of which is highlighted in this video.

Laura Moon died days before, but she comes back to life shortly after Shadow meets Mr. Wednesday and Mad Sweeney. The new video shows Laura explaining her death, combined with some creepy clips.

American Gods premieres April 30, 2017 on Starz.
