Shadow goes “in the fairy tale” in the first AMERICAN GODS Season 2 teaser from NYCC!

After several behind-the-scenes changes and a long wait, American Gods is due to make his way back to Starz for Season 2!

Season 1 ended on quite the cliffhanger as Shadow finally discovered who his eccentric employer Mr. Wednesday really was, stirring up a world of mischief amongst the gods along the way. At the show’s New York Comic Con presentation today, Starz released the first trailer to show where things go after that fateful day.

Laura and Shadow and boy, is it tense, especially with Wednesday and Mad Sweeney alongside them. The war between the new and old gods continues to intensify as audiences are introduced to New Media, the social interaction take on Media after Gillian Anderson’s exit, and even catch a glimpse of Wednesday in his ethereal form.
