AMERICAN GODS Announces Season 2 Premiere Date

AMERICAN GODS is ready for its second coming!

It’s been a long time since we saw American Gods, the Starz series based on Neil Gaiman‘s beloved book of the same name.

Shortly after the end of Season 1, original showrunners Michael Green and Bryan Fuller exited the project, allegedly due to unmet budget demands. The departure left the show in a tight spot as Season 2 development was halted and restarted with new showrunner Jesse Alexander, aided by Neil Gaiman himself. Season 2 has been filmed, but in the final stages of the process Starz “sidelined” Jesse Alexander, leaving the series without a showrunner yet again.

All the same, the new season is finally on its way and we know when to expect new episodes. Check out the news below alongside a new poster, which features Shadow Moon in a very familiar pose while Mr. Wednesday keeps a lookout and one of his crows flies overhead.
