Plot: Everyone deserves a great love story. But for Simon it’s complicated: no-one knows he’s gay and he doesn’t know who the anonymous classmate is that he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, scary and life-changing.
Our thoughts: The world needs more positive representations and all-around cuteness, which we know we’re going to get from this movie! The Love, Simon trailer is so wonderful and it’s already been praised for normalizing gay teen stories in cinema. We can’t wait to see some popular scenes for the book play out, along with some new scenes and characters from the mind of director Greg Berlanti and how they’ll enrich the narrative.
