Movie Adaptations We’re Looking Forward to Watching in 2018

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Based on the Harry Potter companion book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling
Release Date: November 16th
Cast to include: Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol

Plot: The second installment of the ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ series which follows the adventures of Newt Scamander.

Our thoughts: Casting controversies aside, we still want to see this movie because… well, Harry Potter world! Hello! Besides, there are other wonderful actors in the film that we definitely want to see and support, including the lovely Eddie Redmayne. He played Newt Scamander so well, it’s like the part was written for him. And we’re interested in seeing how Jude Law portrays a younger Albus Dumbledore. Plus, Zoe Kravitz’s role in the movie is something that has us very curious, as the name Lestrange is very notable in the Wizarding World. Aaaand…magic!
