When Oliver is away, the recruits must save the day on ARROW!

Oliver Queen watched one of his recruits get in over their head in last week’s episode of Arrow, but the tables have turned dramatically in previews for tonight’s episode, “Penance”!

When Oliver goes on a mission for Argus, he doesn’t make the best impression on his new team. But things get even worse when Tobias Church attacks the city. With Oliver occupied, Felicity, Mr. Terrific, Wild Dog, and Artemis must decide whether or not to battle the threats on their own.

A new clip from the episode has Oliver and the gang taking on a thug from Kord Industries early on. Things don’t go great and it’s clear to see that this teamwork experiment isn’t working out quite the way Oliver wanted it to.

As the episode title suggests, maybe Oliver and his team can make it up to each other in the end.

“Penance” airs tonight on The CW.

Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) team up on a secret mission for Diggle (David Ramsey). Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) finds out and disapproves of the plan and opts to stay behind. When Tobias Church (guest star Chad L. Coleman) launches a deadly assault against the city, Felicity must decide if she wants to send the recruits out sans the Green Arrow.
