I don’t normally hug it out with being bad, but embracing your dark side probably has its benefits. Especially when it comes to this new promo for season 4 of Arrow.
And although i doubt they’ll be changing the name of the show, it’s good to see that they’ll be adding the “Green” to Oliver’s alter ego, and apparently they’ll be introducing that in the premiere episode, as it’s titled… “Green Arrow.” Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the first big bad of the new season, mentions such in this promo.
In last season’s finale, we saw that Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) left the city, seemingly with the intent of not returning, at least for a long, long time. However, they do come back for whatever reason, and you can somewhat tell that this Green Arrow isn’t as brooding as he used to be. Well, that’s my hope at least.
For Olicity fans, it doesn’t look like that train is leaving anytime soon, either, so rejoice. For me, I just want good stories and good action, and I’ll be able to deal with the romance stuff then. And it looks like there’s still good stories to be had as we get to see Diggle (David Ramsey), Laurel (Katie Cassidy), and Thea (Willa Holland) being all badasses, and we face the evil that is Darhk.
Arrow season 4 premieres Wednesday, October 7th!
