ARTEMIS FOWL, ALADDIN and Other Disney Release Dates Revealed

Disney Studios updates the release dates for some of the previously undisclosed films, including ARTEMIS FOWL.

With the release date changed for Star Wars: Episode IX after J.J. Abrams was signed on as the new director, Disney went ahead and disclosed the release dates for some of their other highly anticipated movies. One of them being Artemis Fowl, which is based off Eoin Colfer‘s middle-grade/YA book series.

First off, after Disney pushed back the release date of Star Wars: Episode IX to December 2019, they decided to fill the May 24, 2019 with the live-action Aladdin movie, which just recently just started production, as you can tell by this picture of the cast.

One of the other movies listed as “untitled Disney Fairy Tale” is actually their untitled Christopher Robin project starring Ewan McGregor as the adult version of Christopher Robin, along with Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell, which has the release date of August 3, 2018.

Lastly, the “Untitled Disney Fairy Tale” movie that is scheduled for August 9, 2019 is that of Artemis Fowl. As far as we know, Kenneth Branagh (Murder on the Orient Express) is still slated to direct the film, which he signed on for in 2015.
