Two Additions Rumored for GAME OF THRONES Prequel, THE LONG NIGHT

London stage actress Sheila Atim and actress Denise Gough are possible additions to the GAME OF THRONES prequel, THE LONG NIGHT.

We already know that Naomi Watts will be starring in the Game of Thrones prequel, and there’s still the search for more actors to join her, but two have been rumored to be joining her for The Long Night. Sheila Atim and Denise Gough have possible roles in the prequel, but as it has yet to be confirmed, there is no information about what roles they’d be playing.

Known more for her stage performances, Sheila Atim is an Olivier award winner for her supporting role as Marianne in Conor McPherson’s Girl from the North Country, a musical play influenced by Bob Dylan’s songbook. Her TV credits include Hulu’s Harlots and the mini-series The Donmar Warehouse’s All-Female Shakespeare Trilogy.

Denise Gough has had roles in both TV and video games, with her most recent roles being the title character in the BBC mini-series Paula and as Fallon in the Showtime mini-series Guerrilla. She also was the voice of Yenefer in the video game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine, as well as voices in Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Quest Heroes II.

About The Long Night:

Taking place thousands of years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones,’ the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. And only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East, to the Starks of legend … it’s not the story we think we know.
