James Spader’s Ultron can be a bit difficult to focus on

Although you couldn’t see the actual actor playing the villainous robot creation Ultron, he was still there to play the part. In this Avengers: Age of Ultron featurette, we get a glimpse behind the scenes of how it was for actors Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played the Maximoff twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as they filmed with James Spader‘s Ultron.

As you can see, the featurette also talks about the purpose of introducing Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver into the film.

“I wanted not just a new perspective, but a new visual language,” director Joss Whedon explans why he chose to have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver appear in the Avengers sequel. “She can get inside their heads. He can move, so everything is super-slowed down. That’s going to give me a language I couldn’t have used in the first one.”
