BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE graces the cover of Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-Con preview!
Entertainment Weekly is racking up new stills, interviews, and a sharp new cover for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice in its Comic-Con preview edition! The DC superhero blockbuster is expected to make some major waves with Comic-Con exclusives, but there’s plenty to get excited about in these images alone!
Entertainment Weekly also spoke to the cast and director Zack Snyder about the feel of the film and the new directions for familiar characters. Though not mentioned in their first look, the magazine boasts of an interview with Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, with the issue is released.
Ben Affleck says his interpretation of the beloved Bruce Wayne will be a bit harsher than what we’ve seen so far:
“He’s on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt this character in the other manifestations of it, but this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical.”
Zack Snyder also talked about the challenges of this five-year labor of love:
“It’s a marathon. No, it’s a marathon within a marathon. Do you know that race from Death Valley to the top of Mount Whitney? It’s, like, 100 miles and it’s from the lowest point in the continental United States to the highest. It’s crazy. Anyway, it’s like that.”
The issue, which stands newsstands tomorrow, will also feature…
“…an in-the-flesh look at Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, an oral history of M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable, a visit to the set of NBC’s upcoming Heroes: Reborn, and exclusive first-look images from anticipated movies and TV series including The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, Fantastic Four, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Fear the Walking Dead, Ash Vs. Evil Dead, and much, much more!”
