BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Honest Trailer Digs Into Disney’s Remake Fever

Relive the “tale as old as time” in hilarious fashion!

We loved the live action remake of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast that hit theaters this March, but that doesn’t mean we can’t laugh at it a bit. Thankfully, Screen Junkies‘ Honest Trailer has our backs!

The Honest Trailer takes us back to “the British-est part of France” to explore the live-action and animation similarities, whether or not the add-ins brought anything useful to the story, and how the movie loses a bit of its message by hiring insanely good-looking cast members. They’re also not afraid to dig into that “gay moment” or the Oscar winning role Emma Watson turned down to star in this film. Check it out!

The live-action Beauty and the Beast is out in Digital HD and Blu-ray now. You can snag it via Amazon.

Belle (Emma Watson), a bright, beautiful and independent young woman, is taken prisoner by a beast (Dan Stevens) in its castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the beast’s hideous exterior, allowing her to recognize the kind heart and soul of the true prince that hides on the inside.
