I recently posted an article in which was stated that Benedict Cumberbatch confirmed a 4th season of Sherlock. However, it seems that his statement was something that basically was not really supposed to be said as it had not been actually confirmed by the writers/creators of the show (he did say it as you can watch below, but even he actually wasn’t sure he was supposed to say it.) Certainly, it would be nice to have another season of Sherlock, and maybe it’s just that Benedict and co-star Martin Freeman are signed on for a 4th season, however, that doesn’t necessarily mean there will be one.
