Discover Freeform’s new supernatural mystery BEYOND in our NYCC interviews with the cast and creators!

While we were at New York Comic-Con this year, we had a great opportunity to sit down with star and showrunners behind Freeform’s mysterious new supernatural thriller, Beyond!

Beyond follows 25-year-old Holden, who has been in a coma for the past 12 years and discovers strange new abilities upon awakening. Soon, Holden is thrust into the middle of a major conspiracy and his small town will never be the same.

Burkely Duffield stars as Holden and on top of being totally charming, he had lots to say about the character, the show’s mysteries, and what sets this adventure apart!

We also talked to the show’s creator, Adam Nussdorf. A writer with ties to TRON: Uprising and Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, Nussdorf went back to the shows and movies that inspired him in his youth as he crafted Holden’s crazy adventure.

David Eick, who most famously served as an executive producer for Battlestar Galactica, was a veritable ball of energy as he talked about initially turning down the project, what drew him back in, and crafting an old school supernatural mystery for television.

Beyond premieres on Freeform on Monday, January 2, 2017. It will be the follow-up to the network’s second-highest ranking show, Shadowhunters.
