Big Hero 6 The Series is finally coming to Disney Channel! A series, based on the Marvel comic and Disney animated movie has been in the works for a while. The adventures continued with the television movie, Baymax Returns, which aired last November. Season 1 will kick off beginning Saturday, June 9th with two episodes airing back to back at 9am. Another 2 episodes will air on Sunday, June 10th at the same time.

Several of the original cast has joined the series including Scott Adsit (Baymax), Ryan Potter (Hiro), Jamie Chung (Go Go), Genesis Rodriguez (Honey Lemon), Maya Rudolph (Aunt Cass), Alan Tudyk (Alistair Krei), David Shaughnessy (Heathcliff), Daniel Henney (Tadashi), James Cromwell (Professor Callaghan) and Stan Lee (Fred’s Dad).
Other cast include Brooks Weelan (Fred), Khary Payton (Wasabi), Susan Sullivan (Fred’s Mom), John Michael Higgins (Mini-Max), Gordan Ramsay (Bolton Gramercy), and many more.
Big Hero 6 The Series has already been picked up for season 2.
