BLACK PANTHER Deleted Scene Shows T’Challa and Zuri Bonding

T’Challa and Zuri reminisce in deleted BLACK PANTHER scene!

There are a lot of strong themes in Black Panther, one of which is challenging the traditional views of one’s own family– something that is explored a little more in a newly released deleted scene!

After T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) meets his father once again on the ancestral plain, he has a short but sweet moment with his father’s best friend and shaman Zuri (Forest Whitaker). It turns out that there was originally much more to it.

A deleted scene shared on EW immediately follows T’Challa waking from the ancestral plain. It shows T’Challa and Zuri talking about T’Chaka as the Black Panther and his eventual decision to pass the power on to his son, as well as T’Chaka’s weary views on the outside world. It;s clear that Zuri is holding something back, but T’Challa doesn’t pinpoint it.

Black Panther comes out on Digital HD on May 8th, then heads to Blu-ray on May 15th. You can preorder it now via Amazon.
