BookCon returns to New York City as part of another massive pop culture event!
Did you miss out on BookCon this year when the massive celebration of all things reading and writing headed to Chicago rather than going back to its previous New York City site? We did, too. And with some few book-related events in the Northeast, we were pretty bummed.
But there’s some big news that will help cheer you up: BookCon is coming to New York City after all!
ReedPOP, the organizers behind NYCC, have announced big plans to hold this year’s second BookCon as part of the major comic con event from October 6-9. This BookCon will be held about two blocks away from the Javitz Center, where NYCC is housed, at Hudson Mercantile.
A handful of literary guests for BookCon @ NYCC have been announced so far:
The list is short, but we’re months out from the event and expect an explosion of updates on the literary guest list over that time period.
