“Breaking Bad” Director In Talks to Direct WONDER WOMAN Movie

It’s not official, but according to Variety, it looks like producer/director Michelle MacLaren may sign to direct the Wonder Woman feature film.

Here’s hoping that something be done to end this drought on female-centric superhero movies, with this one looking to be released on June 23, 2017.

Looking at her credentials, Michelle seems to be a fitting choice for this.  Although I don’t see a problem with her directing a male-centric superhero movie, either.  But yes, we’re in need of showing that females don’t have to be the supporting character in an action-packed film.

Michelle has directed episodes for several popular shows, including Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad, and was co-executive producer for The X-Files.
