OUTLANDER teases a fateful moment in “The Birds And The Bees” trailer!
After a whirlwind of an episode ending in a painful, brutal scene, Outlander returns this Sunday with a tease of a much happier moment: Jamie Fraser’s first meeting with his daughter, Brianna in “The Birds And The Bees”.
The episode trailer offers up only a small tease of the full episode when compared to the description as we see Brianna in the shaky aftermath of her rape as she desperately moves to leave the inn. While Roger deals with Stephen Bonnet, completely unaware of what’s transpired, Brianna finds the person she’s been looking for all along.

This is no editing ruse– “Do you have a message for me, lass?” comes straight from the scene in Diana Gabaldon‘s Drums of Autumn.
Of course, we know this happy moment won’t last long as there are always new struggles to be had in colonial America, especially in the aftermath of what’s happened.

As Brianna struggles to compartmentalize the trauma she’s suffered in the wake of the tragedy that befell her in Wilmington, she refocuses on finding her parents and hits a stroke of good luck, discovering that Jamie and Claire are in town as well. The newly reunited family returns to Fraser’s Ridge, where Jamie bonds with Brianna, until dark secrets threaten to tear the Frasers apart.
“The Birds And The Bees” airs this Sunday, December 30th, at 8pm EST on Starz.
