BSG and Dollhouse Star Tahmoh Penikett Joins Cast of SUPERNATURAL

If you’re a sci-fi TV fan, than you may be familiar with Tahmoh Penikett.  He’s no stranger to the genre at all, having starred in Battlestar Galactica and Dollhouse, and guest starring in several well-known TV shows, including Smallville, The Killing, and Castle.  He’s also had a part in the latest Superman movie, Man of Steel.

This time, Tahmoh is finally hitting Supernatural, and he’ll be playing a fallen angel named Ezekiel.  He’ll be in season 9’s debut episode.

Executive producer Jeremy Carver explained that “We’re going to learn pretty quickly that a world full of fallen angels is pretty much a free-for-all. We’re going to see it’s not one unified body. We’ve got lots of angels out there with lots of different agendas. Many are feeling lost and vengeful. A world of fallen angels is a dirty, bloody, scary and, in some ways, a very human world.”

So, in regards to Tahmoh’s character, we have yet to determine whether Tahmoh’s character is more of the vengeful kind or more of the lost kind.  He’s the type of actor that can pretty much play either side as she’s shown in previous roles.
