The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition trailer has been released, and we have the details!

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition will be out in a few weeks, and this trailer reveals that there’s definitely going to be some deleted scenes added in for the extended version.  Being that the movie is already quite lengthy, it’ll be interesting as to what they put back in.  However, at least one of the scenes will include the deleted scene in which Jena Malone makes an appearance.

Collider provided more details about the home video versions:

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and Standard Definition 2-Disc DVD contain the following special features:

  • Uniting the World’s Finest
  • Gods and Men: A Meeting of Giants
  • The Warrior, The Myth, The Wonder
  • Accelerating Design: The New Batmobile
  • Superman: Complexity & Truth
  • Batman: Austerity & Rage
  • Wonder Woman: Grace & Power
  • Batcave: Legacy of the Lair
  • The Might and the Power of a Punch
  • The Empire of Luthor
  • Save the Bats

Speaking to Collider, director Zack Snyder had this to say about the extended cut:

“There’s a little bit of action, there’s a little bit of violence that we trimmed out for the MPAA that we put back. The Batman warehouse rescue, there’s a couple shots of Doomsday that were too intense. Then there’s a little bit longer ending, sort of the ending sequence, and the opening of the movie, the North Africa sequence is really much different.”

All Blu-ray discs will have Dolby Atmos surround sound to give those with a home theater system the special attention needed when it comes to the sound which you can read more about here.
