CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Featurette Breaks Down Massive Tunnel Chase Sequence

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR featurette goes behind the scenes of a thrilling chase!

If you watched the trailers for Captain America: Civil War, you probably noticed the chase scene in which Bucky runs through a tunnel full of speeding cars with Black Panther on his tail and Captain America trailing just behind. Even in short snippets, the scene shows off newcomer Black Panther’s raw power and prowess. Now, a new featurette has directors Joe and Anthony Russo breaking down the fierce new scene!

Though largely an ad spot for Audi, which provided all vehicles used in the film, the featurette breaks down the blocking, practical effects, and challenges behind the action-packed sequence!

It looks like we can expect plenty of Audis sparking, flipping, and probably exploding as the superheroes do more harm than good in a public place once again. Clearly, Black Panther thinks The Winter Soldier is dangerous and needs to be stopped, but we’ll see where Bucky’s allegiances really lie soon!

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016.

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
