The CIVIL WAR begins in CAPTAIN AMERICA Super Bowl spot!

Marvel released a thrilling Captain America: Civil War Super Bowl spot that focuses primarily on a big, previously unseen action sequence!

The Super Bowl spot shows Captain America and his team busting The Winter Soldier aka Bucky Barnes out of government captivity. However, they seem to meet some resistance from Tony Stark, who has a near death experience at the hands of Cap’s best friend. Buildings are bashed up and later, we see a major battle on an airfield to doesn’t bode well for War Machine. To end it all, we see both sides of the battle lined up and ready to face each other.

This teaser ramps up the tension and emphasizes the true danger of superheroes fighting other superheroes. It certainly seems that not everyone is going to make it through this time around!

Official Synopsis:

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
