Carrie Coon, Tom Vaughn-Lawlor Unveiled As AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Villains

The Black Order is slowly being unleashed in new AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR announcements!

Avengers: Infinity War co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo just unveiled the actors behind two members of Thanos’s loyal band of followers known as the Black Order!

After the final trailer for the film unveiled Ebony Maw, the directors confirmed that Irish actor Tom Vaughn-Lawlor took on the villainous role next week. In a follow-up interview with British magazine Radio Times (via Variety), they answered a question about other “interesting voices” in the cast with a simple reveal from Joe Russo: “Carrie Coon is Proxima Midnight.”

Proxima Midnight is a spear-wielding baddie with superhuman strength and invulnerability. She’s the only female member of the Black Order.

For her part, Carrie Coon, who was previously nominated for an Emmy for Fargo, seemed quite pleased to finally revel in the news of her motion capture performance:

With Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, and Cull Obsidian (Terry Notary) actors announced, only the actor behind Corvus Glaive remains a secret.
