The TALES FROM THE SHADOWHUNTER ACADEMY Launch will be taking place in New York City with Cassandra Clare there!
If you live in the New York area, now’s your chance to meet Cassandra Clare as she’ll be in town to launch the hardcover edition of Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. The novel will feature a collection of short stories co-written by Clare along with fellow writers and friends Sarah Rees Brennan, Maureen Johnson, and Robin Wasserman.
Unlike her previous short stories collection, The Magnus Bane Chronicles, not all stories will be told from Simon’s perspective as some are tales from other Shadowhunters we’ve read about before, including characters from The Infernal Devices and The Mortal Instruments.
Included in the hardcover edition will be ten comic illustrations by artist Cassandra Jean, including the one below:
The Tales are compiled of ten short stories that were released as individual ebooks each month from February 2015 to November 2015. The hardcover will be released in stores on Tuesday, November 15th.
As it says on the promo image below, it is a wristband event, so for those of you planning on going, get there early to get your wristband.
We don’t know who else will be joining Cassandra at the event, but it’s sure to be one not to miss. In previous events, she was joined by co-writers such as Sarah Rees Brennan, Maureen Johnson, and Holly Black and she’s also had stars from the TV series Shadowhunters, so who knows who could show up with her.
