Now we know where author Cassandra Clare is going to be touring for City of Heavenly Fire, the last book of The Mortal Instruments series. This is going to be good news for many of you, but probably not so good for many more. Unfortunately, Cassie can’t be everywhere, and most of the time, if not all the time, she has to go where her publishers tell her to, and this time it means in the Northeastern part of the U.S. Three cities to be exact:
There are only three stops on my US tour for CoHF because the book comes out the week of Book Expo America, so I’ll be spending that whole week in New York as I have contractual convention-related activities. So I hope you can make it to one of the three! (New York, Boston, Philly.)
So, there you have it. She’ll be hitting New York, Boston, and Philadelphia for the City of Heavenly Fire tour. You may wonder why she can’t hit more places, but considering her busy writing schedule (see here), it’s understandable. Still, I’m sure it’s a little disappointing for those who live well outside of those three cities to not be able to see her and meet her. But as you all know, it’s not like she won’t have other Shadowhunter books to tour for in the future.
For now, we’ll just impatiently wait for City of Heavenly Fire to be released (on May 27th) and we can feel all the feels. And for those of you who are able to make it to one of her stops, then be gracious and courteous and enjoy your time with her!
