Simon and Schuster is going to publish Cassandra Clare and Cassandra Jean’s AN ILLUSTRATED HISTORY OF NOTABLE SHADOWHUNTERS AND DENIZENS OF DOWNWORLD!
Cassandra Clare and artist Cassandra Jean have been teaming up to create images and scenes from Clare’s Shadowhunter Chronicles for a long time. Recently, Jean illustrated a set of ‘flower cards’ showing different characters from the Shadowhunter Chronicles with different flowers that described them. Now, Simon and Schuster is publishing a book of these flower cards – including some that haven’t previously been released – which will also feature writing from Clare on each character, including some never-before-known details on the characters. An Illustrated History of Notable Shadowhunters and Denizens of Downworld will be published on November 3rd, 2016.
Shadowhunter fans may recognize this title, as it was previously released on TopatoCo by Clare. So some lucky fans, including myself, already have their hands on this book. But Simon and Schuster’s publication will make it much more accessible for many people, which is great, because this book is absolutely gorgeous. Check out Simon and Schuster’s press release below:
