Dominic Sherwood will star as Jace on SHADOWHUNTERS, ABC Family’s adaptation of THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS series!
There’s a new Jace in town, and it’s none other than Dominic Sherwood! You may recognize Dominic from his past roles in MAYDAY, VAMPIRE ACADEMY, and most recently Taylor Swift’s music video for “Style”!

We’re thrilled about this casting! Though VAMPIRE ACADEMY never quite hit the mark for most, Dominic Sherwood was excellent in the film and we know he’ll be great as capturing Jace’s smarmy charm!

Right now, the show runners are still looking to round out the rest of the cast, including the perfect Clary Fray. However, casting the perfect Jace Wayland/ Lightwood/ Herondale is a major factor for the audience following Cassandra Clare’s book series, so it’s not surprise that ABC Family put tons of energy into finding the sexy, smarts Shadowhunter we all know and love first.
