Can you believe it’s been 5 years since the release of the final book in The Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay? We only just picked up the series around the release of Mockingjay, after all. Time flies! But don’t worry, there are still plenty of anniversary celebrations you can join in on!
First off, Lionsgate launched a new interactive website for Mockingjay Part 2 — Squad451.TheHungerGames.Movie
Once on the website, fans were directed to check in via clicks. It only took about an hour and a half to reach the goal of 10 million clicks, at which point Lionsgate released a new movie banner featuring Katniss Everdeen and the rest of Star Squad 451 in a battered Capitol dubbed “Fallen Snow”.
The studio is also sharing the Mockingjay love with a week full of giveaways on the official Snapchat channel, MockingjayPt2. Follow them on Snapchat to get in on the action!
There will be different prizes throughout the week. Today, fans who snap a selfie with their Mockingjay book will win another copy for a friend!
