The Goldbergs’ Charlie DePew has been cast alongside Bella Thorne in the new Freeform drama series, Famous in Love.
Charlie DePew will be joining the cast of Famous in Love, an upcoming new drama series based off the novel by Rebecca Serle. It centers on college student Paige (Bella Thorne) who gets her Hollywood break when she auditions for the lead in a Hollywood film.
DePew will be playing Jake, “a down-to-earth guy from the Midwest with an edge who aspires to be a screenwriter/indie filmmaker.”
You may have recently seen Charlie in the MTV TV show Awkward, or on ABC’s The Goldbergs. Or if you’re a fan of the Andrew Garfield starring Spider-Man movies, then you’ve seen him as Gwen Stacy’s brother, Philip Stacy.
Famous in Love is scheduled to premiere on Freeform sometime June 2017.
