The schedule for YALLFest 2016 has been released — and it’s packed! 

YALLFest 2016 will be the 6th Charleston Young Adult Book Festival. The festival schedule was recently released on their website, and it’s packed with signings, panels, and more!

To give you a taste of the content, here’s a lineup for just one hour of Saturday:

• PANEL: THAT TIME I SUCKED

  Moderator Brendan Reichs with Ally Condie, Soman Chainini, Victoria Aveyard, Adam Silvera, and Alexandra Bracken

• PANEL: INVENTED WORLDS

  Moderator Veronica Rossi with Victoria Schwab, Daniel José Older, Lance Rubin, Maggie Stiefvater, and Sharon Cameron
  Some fantasy stories are based on mythology or fairy tales, but these masters of invention explain how they’ve made us forget the familiar — or bypassed it entirely.

• PANEL: KEEP YA WEIRD

  Moderator Libba Bray with Stephanie Keuhn, Samantha Mabry, Nova Ren Suma, Justine Larbaliester, Barnabas Miller
  What’s real? What’s not? Can we trust this narrator? Can we trust anything? YA is at its best when it’s inventive and new, but how do we keep it that way?

• PANEL: ADVENTURES & JOURNEYS

  Moderator Emery Lord with Jesse Andrews, Nnedi Okorafor, Natalie Standiford, and Ruta Septys
  Road trips, grail quests, space missions, dangerous treks into the unknown — how do you like your adventure?

Yep. That was only one hour. Other signing authors include Sarah Dessen, David Levithan, Susan Dennard, Alexandra Bracken, Sabaa Tahir, and Nicola Yoon. Panels range from “Unlikable Female Protagonists” to “YA Meets Hollywood.”
