The Gladers face their sins in ‘Everything Wrong with MAZE RUNNER: THE SCORCH TRIALS’!
Fans of The Maze Runner trilogy were pretty pleased with The Scorch Trials movie despite some differences from the book, but that doesn’t mean the movie is without any stereotypical sins!
The CinemaSins channel pokes fun at the silly flaws seen in every movie, as well as the tropes they present. This time around, they’re taking on obvious bad guys pretending to be good, WCKD’s poorly structured holding facility, high fashion in record temperatures, and more!
Sure, the movie gets some flack just for being a dystopia, but there were definitely some chuckles to be had as the YouTubers pointed out the inconsistencies featured among the action, adventure, and drama of The Scorch!
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials first hit theaters on September 18, 2015 and reached audiences on DVD in December of the same year. After and on set injury, production on the third film in the trilogy, The Death Cure, was halted. However, filming resumes on May 15th and the film is still slated for a February 17, 2017 release at this time.
