THE 100 is new this week with the episode “Gimme Shelter,” and this clip shows they might be able to save humanity, but not without a sacrifice.
*Warning: Slight spoilers* So, things didn’t go so well in last week’s episode of The 100. They don’t have enough fuel to get back to space and make their own nightblood. However, from the clip above for this week’s episode, “Gimme Shelter,” Abby has a solution and she and Clarke will have to make a choice.
Exposing someone to radiation and injecting them with Luna’s bone marrow may have the capability to turn people into Nightbloods. Obviously, there’s a couple of things wrong with this idea. First, the person has to be exposed to enough radiation to “implode every single cell in their body.” Yeah, that doesn’t sound like the most fun in the world.
And secondly, find someone to do expose radiation upon. Now, you’d think they could just ask for a volunteer, right? You never know, there might be someone willing to sacrifice him or herself to save them all. But if not, would they force someone to do it? Someone like Emori, who might decide to stop them in her own way.
Clarke’s (Eliza Taylor) arrival on the island quickly takes a turn for the worse. Meanwhile, Bellamy (Bob Morley) tries to avoid further tragedy in Arkadia. Paige Turco, Marie Avgeropoulos, Devon Bostick, Lindsey Morgan, Christopher Larkin, Richard Harmon, Zach McGowan, Isaiah Washington and Henry Ian Cusick also star. Tim Scanlan directed the episode written by Terri Hughes Burton & Ron Milbauer (#407).
