Clarke will take down the City of Light from the inside in new The 100 ‘Perverse Instantiation – Part Two’ promo and photos!
The most recent episode of The 100 had us all on the edge of our seats, building up for the season finale, ‘Perverse Instantiation – Part Two,’ which looks like it will be just as shocking and thrilling as we expect from a The 100 finale. I will admit, I was a little wary of the City of Light storyline at first, because it didn’t really make much sense, but these past couple episodes have been truly phenomenal, making the threat of the City of Light seem very real and raising the show to higher stakes than ever before. And it looks like these stakes will hit even higher peaks in the season finale, ‘Perverse Instantiation – Part Two,’ as Clarke (Eliza Taylor) enters the City of Light herself in order to shut it down from the inside. This promo shows Clarke entering the City of Light, though it must be through other means than everyone else, as it looks as if she is aware of her plan while in the city, and has not been taken over by A.L.I.E. Though she does make it in okay, there is no telling how she will fair in the city, with so many people against her. This promo also makes it look like our team has managed to free Abby (Paige Turco) from the City of Light, as she looks to be helping them. It also seems like Clarke adventure in the City of Light will not be the only problem our heroes face in this episode, as they must also fend off anyone who may come up the tower to harm Clarke before she destroys the city.
The promotional photos for this episode give us more of an insight into what the City of Light will look like, and from these, it seems like a normal city. Everyone has traded out their grounder or Skaikru gear for coats and scarves, and the city, this time not CGI as it has been in some previous episodes and instead shot in downtown Vancouver, looks just like any other city today. These photos also show Clarke facing off against Jasper (Devon Bostick), possibly to get to the citadel to destroy the City of Light. Check out the photos below:
The 100 has always been good at dramatic finales, leaving the fans clawing for more. And with this season’s intense storyline and seemingly unbeatable enemy, ‘Perverse Instantiation – Part Two’ is shaping up to surpass all of our expectations.
The season three finale of The 100, ‘Perverse Instantiation – Part Two,’ premieres on Thursday May 19th on The CW.
