Tone Bell will give Iris West a run for her money later this season!
Fans of The Flash were promised that we’d be seeing more hard-hitting Journalist!Iris in the second half of Season 2 and it seems a new character will certainly be helping out with that angle!
Comedian Tone Bell (Whitney, Truth Be Told) is joining The CW show as Scott Evans, the determined new editor who will push Iris and her co-workers at Central City Picture News to dig deeper into the corruption and secrets hidden within the community, which will likely put Iris in some sticky situations.
Journalists don’t have it easy in Central City. Award-winning but prickly reporter Mason Bridge was killed in Season 1 when he figured out Eobard Thawne’s secret and the newspaper’s last editor, Eric Larkin, was murdered earlier this season in the midst of a face-off with Dr. Light.
We’ve yet be find out if Tone Bell will bring some comedy to the show or take a more straight-laced approach to the character for his guest arc, but we’re certainly hoping for the former!
The Flash returns on January 19, 2015.
