MALEFICENT 2 has just started production and we have confirmation on three actors who will be in the Disney sequel. 

We had announced earlier that mega-beauty veteran actress Michelle Pfeiffer (Murder on the Orient Express, Ant-Man and the Wasp) was in talks to join the cast for Maleficent 2, and it was recently confirmed that she is definitely in the movie and will play Queen Ingrith. As far as whether this queen is an ally or an adversary to Elle Fanning’s Aurora and Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent, that has yet to be revealed.

Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange, The Lion King) and Robert Lindsay (Galavant) have also been confirmed to be on, though at the moment it hasn’t been disclosed as to the names of the characters they’ll be playing.

Along with Jolie and Fanning, the three actors will be joining returning cast members Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Leslie Manville. Plus, Ed Skrein and Harris Dickinson are also new members to the franchise, however, Dickinson will be replacing Brenton Thwaite’s role from the first movie as Prince Phillip.
