We hadn’t heard much about Erin Beaty‘s debut novel The Traitor’s Kiss before today, but after a gorgeous cover reveal and description from Bustle today, we’re adding this new release to our TBR!
The story follows Sage Fowler, a sharp young woman who’s sent to apprentice for a matchmaker after deciding she’s not fit for marriage herself. She’s not helping couple match up for love, but for wealth and political alliances. As political tides shift in her kingdom, Sage is recruited as a spy by a charming young soldier, Ash. But the more she learns about her government, the less she wants to know.
Erin Beaty is a former United States Navy weapons officer, so she knows a few things about the military and combat weapons!
Check out the novel’s cover, which is a slick combination of beautiful and deadly.
The Traitor’s Kiss hits bookshelves this spring on May 9, 2017. You can pre-order now via Amazon.
