Young Adult author Nicola Yoon won our hearts last year with her debut novel, Everything Everything. Now she’s back with a new contemporary teen title, The Sun Is Also A Star!

The book follows Natasha — a devotee of science and hard facts, whose family is hours from being deported to Jamaica — and Daniel — a well-behaved star student who falls instantly under Natasha’s spell. Will they let themselves fall in love, or choose one of the millions of other paths fate may have in store?
You’re probably thinking that cover is a brilliant work of photoshop, but you would be wrong. Along with the cover reveal, EW unveiled the painstaking process behind the needle-and-thread design created by artist Dominique Falla. Take a look!
